When I first started working for Windows, a fun part of my job was designing swag for events. This sequence of shirt graphics was designed to celebrate the Windows Insider Program (WIP) and was distributed at an anniversary event as a token of gratitude to all those who have helped evolve the Windows OS from the very beginning.
The visuals were inspired/re-worked from an 8-bit Windows iconography set. The font, Fixedsys, is the oldest font in Windows, and was the system font in Windows 1.0 and 2.0, where it was simply named "System."
